6th Ukrainian Folk Crafts Tourney
Judges: Yevgen Reytsen & Natalia Kucherenko (Ukraine)

Organizers
Chess Federation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Committee for Chess Composition

Theme
H#3 featuring the Poltava twin: position (b) results after removing a black piece (or pawn) and adding a white piece (or pawn) on any square. The solution of part (a) becomes set play of part (b).

There will be three prizes, honourable mentions and commendations. The prizes are products of the Artistic Ceramics Opishnia Plant; vases bearing chess symbols. This time, engraved on the vases are the prize-winning problems of the previous Ukrainian Folk Crafts tourney held in the Moscow congress 2003.

You can participate with either of the two following ways:

  1. Send your entries via e-mail to Yevgen Reytsen by Wednesday, 1st of September, 12:00 GMT at the latest.
  2. Hand over your compositions to Yevgen Reytsen or Natalia Kucherenko during the congress by Wednesday, 8th of September, 12:00.
